Terms of use

These terms explain the rules that apply when hospitals, specialists, and other authorized users access the Private Practice platform.

Effective: 24 September 2026

01

Using Private Practice

Private Practice provides technology that helps healthcare facilities and specialist practitioners discover one another, communicate about opportunities, organize engagements, and manage related activity. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms and to any policies referenced here.

  • You must provide accurate, current information and keep your account details up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for protecting your login credentials.
  • You may use the platform only for lawful healthcare staffing and professional collaboration purposes.
02

Account eligibility and professional information

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you use Private Practice on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

  • Specialists are responsible for the accuracy of their qualifications, licences, work history, and uploaded documents.
  • Hospitals are responsible for the accuracy of their organization details, opportunities, schedules, and compensation information.
  • Creating an account does not guarantee approval, engagement, employment, or a particular outcome.
03

Roles and engagements

Private Practice facilitates connections but is not a party to the clinical or employment relationship between a hospital and a specialist unless expressly stated otherwise. Users remain responsible for evaluating suitability, satisfying professional and regulatory requirements, and agreeing to the terms of each engagement.

  • Hospitals must describe roles and expectations fairly and accurately.
  • Specialists must accept only work they are qualified and legally permitted to perform.
  • Both parties must communicate material changes to schedules, scope, or compensation promptly.
04

Payments and wallets

Certain features may allow users to fund a wallet, pay for engagements, receive payouts, or review transaction history through third-party payment services. Applicable fees, timing, and payment conditions may be displayed during the transaction.

  • You authorize us and our payment providers to process information necessary to complete requested transactions.
  • A transaction may be delayed, declined, reversed, or reviewed to comply with law, prevent fraud, or correct an error.
  • Users remain responsible for taxes, levies, and reporting obligations arising from their activities.
05

Acceptable conduct

  • Do not submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawfully obtained information.
  • Do not interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorized access, or introduce malicious code.
  • Do not harass other users, discriminate unlawfully, misuse personal information, or bypass agreed platform processes for improper purposes.
  • Do not copy, resell, or exploit the service or its content except as permitted in writing.
06

Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Private Practice a limited licence to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate and improve the service. The platform, brand, interface, and original content belong to Private Practice or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.

07

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or close an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, information is unsafe or fraudulent, payment obligations remain unresolved, or action is required by law. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will continue to apply.

08

Service availability and liability

We work to keep Private Practice reliable and secure, but the platform is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular job or candidate outcome, or the conduct of another user. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

09

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the platform or legal requirements change. Material updates will be communicated through the platform or another appropriate channel. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
